The food was incredible with variety of options. The hotel was placed in the secluded location close to the park. Plus, it was very close to the mountain as well as Kandahar Lodge.
We didn't have lift.

The location here is fantastic, with easy access to Glacier National Park, nearby skiing in Canada, great hiking at Big Mountain, and a local farmers market to enjoy.

It was in a beautiful setting on Big Mountain. The continental breakfast in the morning was filled with many choices. It was a pleasant surprise to see that we had a mini kitchen in our room - actually we were in a studio condo.
The air conditioning unit in our place was noisy and bothered our sleep during the night. We also did not want to spend so much money on a meal in the in house restaurant and there was only a bar/saloon to patronize in the vicinity. We ended up driving back down the mountain into Whitefish to eat our evening meal.

Kandahar lodge at whitefish mountain resort has a great van service that takes you right from the lobby to the slopes. The hot tub was relaxing and never crowded, made unwinding at the end of the day easy. Breakfast offerings like hard-boiled eggs and yogurt were decent too.
